About Christi & Lisa Jane

1T4A3451_edited_edited.jpg

Our Story:

WE met 20 years ago when we had the privilege of working together on one of the first national marketing teams for a world-renowned treatment center.  Since that time, we both have held various positions from chief marketing officer, executive director, and chief operating officer.  During our journey, we realized there were far too few women in leadership and recognized there was a need for women to mentor each other.

In 2019, we decided that rather than talk about what was needed, we would take action to create our first workshop, WE Lead for ambitious women leaders.  It is a forum where women in the healthcare field could come together to learn, share in a safe environment, discover and uncover our dreams and goals both personally and professionally.  We focus on the 4 pillars of brand, communication, money, and well-being.

We both are successful in our careers yet like many women, we did not receive a training manual on how to be a good leader nor did we have women mentors.  We had to figure it out along the way, sharing not only our success but also our mistakes.  This was how we helped each other to avoid pitfalls, knowing what to ask for when negotiating, and it also inspired us to share our key learnings to the other women we had befriended.  This was the beginning of our journey to invite other women alongside us to be the students and the teachers, to support each other as we all grew professionally.

Our intention and desire are to continue to reach as many women who want to be a part of a collective, bringing the wisdom and strength of the group to help elevate us all from where we are to where we want to go.

Our experiential events include a health- focused practice and often times is wrapped in the philosophy of yoga.  Our intention is summarized in this quote:

Inspiration

"There’s no world without ambitions. Even if one practices Santosha (contentment), even if one only seeks spiritual growth, even if one seeks only to be present, it all begins with human desire, an ambition to achieve something, to reach a destination, to be a part of something greater than self. So, what if our ambitions were more inspirations from the heart and less motivation to feed the ego?  Then our desires would become transformative tools reaching into an awakened life."

~Nasim Nourian, Inner Vision Yoga Teacher

We look forward to meeting you in our workshop series to see what transpires.

Gina Kilker
Gina headshot.jpg

As the founder of BrandTree Marketing Communications, Gina couldn’t think of a better metaphor for a brand than a tree when she started her own company. Always changing, morphing, growing and adapting to the changing world around it, trees serve as our everyday model of what it takes to grow, thrive and blossom in an environment where anything can happen. So, when it came time to growing her own brand, she did it only after years of growing others. It was those experiences within multiple industries – whether client side or agency side – that have now helped her develop what she believes is the ideal marketing communications firm.
